Welcome to Building Stack. This guide will walk you through creating your password and activating your account so you can start using your tenant portal.
Open your web browser (like Chrome or Edge) and go to the Building Stack sign in page.
Under the password box, click on the words "Forgot password."
A new page will open asking for your email address. Click inside the box and type in the email address you gave to your building manager.
Click the green "Next" button.
A message will appear saying an email has been sent to you. Open your email inbox and look for a message from Building Stack with the subject "Welcome to your tenant portal."
Open that email. You will see a green button that says "Activate your account." Click it.
A new page will open called "Set your password." Click inside the first box and type a password.
Your password must include at least one number, one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and be between 8 and 32 characters long.Green checkmarks will appear as you meet each requirement.
Click inside the second box, "Confirm your password," and type the same password again.
Click the blue "Save password" button.
Go back to your email inbox. Look for a new email from Building Stack with the subject "Your access code" and open it.
Inside this email you will see a six character code. Copy down the code, you will need this in the next step. Note that this code expires after 5 minutes, so it's best to move quickly.
Go back to the Building Stack page in your browser. You will see six small empty boxes. Click on the first box and type in the six character code from the email.
Click the blue "Login" button.
A welcome page will appear with a few checkboxes. Check the first box, which says "I agree to receive communications by email, text message and phone." This box is required.
The other two checkboxes are optional. Only check them if you would like to receive newsletters or special offers.
Click the green "Continue" button.
You have now finished setting up your account and can start using your Building Stack tenant portal right away.
