What if I can't login to my online banking account from Building Stack? (Step 5)

If you want to make a rent payment but are unable to login to online banking from Building Stack, you can manually enter your deposit information (Institute #, Transit #, Account #) to make one-time or pre-authorized debits.

  • Complete the above process normally until step 5 (selecting your bank institution)

  • simply select 'Other' from the dropdown list of available financial institutions

  • Next, enter your direct deposit information manually. You will need to provide:

    • Transit number (3 digits)

    • Institution number (5 digits)

    • Account number

    • These numbers can be found

      • on the bottom of a void cheque,

      • or from a direct deposit form generated from your online banking app.

  • Finally, complete the normal payment process using steps 6-8 above.
